I've heard the M650. It's not comparable to the Sennheisers in terms of balance. It's a bit much on the warm side with the beryllium drivers, stiff sounding treble. If they reduced the warmth, I think it would be better.

Does anyone have a HD6X0 variant that along with the Monoprice 650, and if so, can they compare the gimbals and see if the Monoprice headband would work on the Sennheiser? It looks like it could be a comfort and style upgrade for the Sennheiser.

I have both and measured them. The Senn HD650's cups are about 2 mm wider than the Monoprice M650 so the yokes would not fit the Senn.
