I think it's also called a turk's head knot, but cool idea for de-tangling

That's pretty neat! I don't think I'd use it with any of my better headphones, though. Their cables are kinda thick, and i don't know if tightening them up in a knot would be a good idea for their longevity.

If I used my iBuds I'd give it a shot, though. I think the cord on my KSC75 is short enough already, but it might be worth a try with them.
