It's been a while since I've been on here. I currently have JH-5's which were a great first IEM and now that I'm doing more monitor engineering locally (and might be doing touring in the near future) I want to upgrade to at least 7's.
My questions are: Would you recommend the 7's or 11's? and how can those sound without the drive of a headphone amp with an iPod?
My JH-5's will end up being my main iPod IEMs so it's not a big deal but I'm just curious.
I'd really only like opinions from monitor engineers to be honest as that's what this is all for. Thanks in advanced!
