Dear Head-Fiers, help!!!
I decided to be nice to myself, and buy a set of cans this coming April, but I'm kind of torn. I can't decide between the Beyer DT-150s which I heard at Jaben (they gave me goosebumps), and the Ultrasone HFI-780s. I love the liquid lushness of the DT-150s, and the sheer bass depth; but I'm also very tempted by the Ultrasone HFI-780s, which I think look all business, and are also rare here in Singapore.
The problem is, because Ultrasones are quite rare here, I haven't heard what they sound like. Would I regret getting the HFI-780s over the DT-150s? Any detailed explanation of the Ultrasone sound would be very helpful! I promise to post nice pictures of whichever 'phone I end up getting.
Notes: I'll be using them with a Xenos 1HA-EPC amp, which as you already know, is pretty powerful!
