I know but $200-$300 little too steep AFAIK, Octomore and PC same/sister company? That’s good but my Ardbeg of choice is Uigeadail. The Port Charlotte is probably the best bang for buck Scotch out there. But if you want amazing try the Bruichladdich Octomore!

Stay with a .1 version (I.e. 13.1:14.1). The others are better but not that much better for the extra money.Oyy any specific one?
Too rare and expensive now, but my favorite Islay malt from years ago was Port Ellen.

All very nice indeed, but my favourite is the Black Art series from Bruichladdich - each release is slightly difference, but they're the finest whiskies I've ever tasted - I've got the 3 and 4 releases (I think they're on 9 now)That’s good but my Ardbeg of choice is Uigeadail. The Port Charlotte is probably the best bang for buck Scotch out there. But if you want amazing try the Bruichladdich Octomore!
My fav Lagavulin
After moving up onto Aries Cerat Helene, I sorely miss the Tambaqui's small form factor and weight lol
