I just did an a/b comparison between the two.

I then had my girlfriend aid me in doing a blind test and I was correct 5 out of 5 times.

The 2549 sounds much more natural as in it sounds like the music was stuffed into a box and delivered to me to unpack. Much deeper and natural lows.

The 2543 sounds very precise as in it sounds like the music was send to my speakers through quantum entanglement and everything becomes immediately more crisp and precise.

I do notice the vocals are much more forward in the 2549 and with 2543 the highs (electric guitar in particular) become the forefront.

Is there any reason for this? Interference or a faulty cable possibly?

I use 2534 on all my cables, I think the sound is very clear precise as well

Just made a pair of interconnects and a set of 18 foot headphone cables using 2534. Pleased with both.

I am using a Mogami 2549 to connect the DAC and headphone amp. it sounds very clear and precise. neither adds anything nor removes anything in the sound.
