Hi group, wanted to run this by you since I don't recall my last settings when I had a sound card. Want to know how to setup my Windows and foobar2000 settings.

Right now:
Windows audio device properties: 24 bit, 44100 Hz, allow apps to take control, give exclusive mode
foobar2000: WASAPI (event), Output data format 24 bit, no dither

Source is 16/44.1 flac and 320kbs mp3 (and some lesser mp3s). Connected via USB 2.0. Have optical and coax outs as well.

Should I keep the bitrates the way they are?

I would set audio to 24-bit/48K, but that's just me.
I believe using a 24-bit setting, with 16-bit audio effects the loudness (more louder?).
