Modding Marshmallow - which Shure tip to use?

Do I want to use the Shure E2c Ultra-Soft Flex tips:

or the Shure E2c Foam Tips:

I think both will work. I use the soft tips, they just fit better in my ears than the foams.

For my E500s, these are my favorite in order:

Tri-Flange cut down to Bi-Flange (Biggest Tip removed)
Yellow Foams
Softflex

On the big Marshmallow thread a lot of people say the foams are good, but I got the flex tips and like them.

i like the flex tips as well...i use them on um2s over the complys

I've never tried the flex tips, but I picked up a set of foams at an airport last week and installed them on my Kramer-modded FX-33s once I got on my plane. BIG difference in comfort over stock. I can tell some difference in isolation and SQ too, but not dramatic.
