I was thinking of getting the DT 770 PRO-80, but much to my dismay the cable is not detachable. Looking on here, as well as the Internet, it looks like this can be easily remedied if you're willing to make a little project out of it. My question is, does it matter the quality of the jack, solder, and wires used to extend the solder points? Where should I look for these items to keep the sound signature pre-mod?
