Hey all, was very bored last night, so I "modded" my AKG K422 over-the-ears.
Basically I opened them up, and filled with loose cotton.
Does that normally increase or decrease bass?
They did leak alot of sound, not they leak like 50% less. I don't know if that is "good" or not..
But to me, they sound more powerful and "full" now. Like right now, I'm listening to Crushcrushcrush by Paramore, and sounds phenomenal.
