Modded IPod

Imma modder aficianado(spelled right?). From computer to car to my old Riovolt SP250 MP3/CD Player. Im debating between getting the 30gig IPod Photo and the iAudio XL5. Now the reason i want the IPod is because of its photo viewing on television capabilities, which I could use when I go to Pakistan(all we have are Digital photos, no time to print em all, and everyone there has TVs but not comps). Now I was wondering, what kind of things have people done to their IPods, from case mods to installing Linux on it or other programs.
