is modded benchmark dac1(used) still worth buying?
i have read great reviews on modded dac1's
but they are all reviews of many years ago
and they are not even being talked about as much these days
i already have dac1 usb but
after reading all those reviews on them,
im kind of curious how far the improvement will be
anyone with any experience with one of those?
probably not nearly as good as say overdrive or constant(HS) though right?

I read somewhere that benchmark received a modded benchmark once, and measured it.  Measurements were worse off.  Given that I would just keep your current benchmark usb.

Still technically one of the best dac's money can buy. Your good to go, just not FOTM anymore.

have you listened one of those modded dac1's?
do they sound better than nad m51?
the one i found was fully modded one(about $2600 just for the modding cost)
but probably not nearly as good as overdrive right?

never heard a dac one, modded or otherwise. I'm only going by technical specifications and objective measurement.
