Is there really any difference in sound quality or quantity between these two?
Also. Why are there .75 and .78 mm? I mean cmon.
Are they cross compatible?

thanks.

Sound? No.

Quality, 2 pin is simpler and less likely to fail.

The thicker 0.78 can be stuffed into a 0.75, but it will permanently stretch the ports. Not ideal, but it will work.

Thanks for the info, info :)

So wait. a .75 pined cable will NOT work on .78 iems?
Wow thats crazy. thats only a 0.0015 inch difference. I could easily shim that.
I work in a Machine shop with lots of manual and CNC machines.
There are tiny little metal filings all over the place.
I bet i could find something to work. Also we have a chrome plating shop.
.0015 of chrome is easy. i wonder how well Chromium can pass electrical signals.
I wonder what that would do to the impedance?

Thanks for information :)
