I recently jumped on the Audio-GD bandwagon and ordered a FUN (A), DAC-19DF & New C-2. While I wait for their arrival, I am listening to my SS home amps a bit more. ATM, I only have the KICAS (non-caliente) and MKVII, the rest is tube gear. I'm trying different setups and looking for different synergies. For the Audio-GD gear, I ordered the HDAMs and ACSS cable to connect the C-2 and DAC19DF, so combos will be plenty. Needless to say, I will be busy comparing everything to my present gear and rolling everything within Audio-GD.

At the moment, I was using my MKVII with the Matrix in balanced mode and one of my ipods was nearby, since I just put some more music on it, I said, what the heck...Connected it to the RCAs and have been rocking for a good while. This amp has some serious slam with everything you throw at it.
The only reason I have not balanced a couple more of my phones, is because this amp kicks @ss in SE mode also....I can live with my Senns in balanced mode (HD580 & HD650) and everything else SE.

Rockbox, all the way...I won't leave home without it....the only way to go...

Once you Rockbox, you'll never go back...

Love em' both, however, have not put them head to head yet. Once I receive my Audioi-GD gear, I will have an all out, head to head shoot-out with the Matrix, LD DAC_I, DacMagic, V-DAC, FUN(A), DAC-19DF...

Correct, your link is the video ipod ones. The one above in my pic is "ipodWidgets"...(towards the bottom of the page you linked)....Many, many to choose from and once you install them, changing them is just a touch of a button...

Just as God intended. I think that setup has a future. Place it on the end table or on a coffee table so you can play with the iPod. Simple, sweet, and good sounding, all I could ask for. Mmmm, mmmm, mmm toasty!
