I recently bought a DT880/600 and realised nothing I own can sufficiently power it, so I'm either going to DIY something like an O2 or buy a seperate headphone amp.

The thing is, my current home setup involves my computer -> Topping TP30, which is an integrated DAC/AMP. I don't have another DAC, so I would either have to go through the hassle of switching audio outputs on my computer everytime I want to listen to my headphones, or setting for something unsavory such as amping the headphone out from my amp (which doesn't supply enough power at all, even in terms of volume).

Does anyone have any ideas? Should I just upgrade from my TP30 to a dedicated DAC and buy two seperate amps? My wallet cringes.

Unfortunately if this was the case, I wouldn't be in this predicament. :frowning2:

The TP30 only has USB in, RCA in and speaker out.

Sell off the Topping TP30 and buy the Schiit Magni/Modi combo.
