Hi,
I've already searched for threads about this but I've seen metal571 and Wheezy reviews' review of the akg k371 and I'm thinking of buying them for mixing songs. I've read many people's opinions about mixing in headphones vs speakers and while most say speaker monitors are better I'm still a broke college student. I've also seen the dt770 80 ohm and they seem to have a pretty neutral response besides a bit of treble emphasis and a dip on the high mids (the k371 may also have this dip) but what concerns me most about them is the hair rattle. Currently I am using a pair of in ear consumer sennheiser cx281, do you think the akg k371 or the dt770 would be an improvement or should I just save my money?
Do you any other suggestions that don't need an amp or that with an amp are still bellow 130€?
I also own an audio interface: yamaha ag06, but I don't think it can drive very inefficient headphones.
