I’m looking for some new sensitive headphones, with clear and sibilance free highs.
I’m a bit of a Stax fan and have grown addicted to their incredible non-fatiguing highs.
Ideally I’d want a Stax that didn’t need the dedicated amp but that’s not going to happen.
There are quite a few reviews singing high praise for the MJ2s combination of electret and dynamic drivers. But there are also quite a few posts lambasting these headphones as downright awful.
I figured since these are currently on Massdrop I might give them a chance. But the criticism is giving me pause, I wish Innerfidelity had a review of these...
