A friend gave me a .5m pair recently. Does anyone have any info on these? I can't seem to pull-up MIT's website, no hits on a search here, and Google's no help. I'm using them between my Pioneer 563A DVDA/SACD player and a JMT maxed-out Meta42 driving Senn 580's with stock cable. The Zap's seem fairly bright compared to stock Sony ES cables but more dynamic. I'm already planning on a Cardas upgrade for the Senn's but given my source and amp do you think better or different IC's are a wize investment? TIA, Koui

Get an upgrade cable for your cans first. Then use the "upgraded" headphones to base your opinions on interconnects.
