Mission Impossible? Comfort of Sony MDR 5706 + Sound of Audio Technica ATH M40x
The title says it all. I recently bought both these headphones. While the Sonys are far more comfortable, the M40x’s sound noticeably better. I experienced the M40x to be rather vice-like in its grip and just kinda clunky. My ears get red and hot in short order. The Sony doesn’t have this problem, but I find that it lacks the detail of the M40x’s.
Is there a better option out there at the same price point?
