Minor issue with my Shanling mx2

Greetings, just a quick question about the MX2. Basically the unit won’t go into sleep mode/screen-off), but keeps turning off and on every 5-7 seconds without any physical contact with the unit. I’ve tried different settings in the “idle” section but no change there. I basically have to shut it down to stop the battery drain. I’m pretty new with daps in general and Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you using the correct power adapter for it?

Is there a button being held down by accident?

Have you looked around for software / firmware upates?

Thank you NA Blur. No buttons being pressed, I’ll try check the power adapter/source(?), would that be a specific voltage/amperage unit? I had used my MacBook 12”. I’ll also check for a firmware update also. thanks again for your suggestions.
