Never been to a meet. Attending one was just recommended to me because I am trying to decide on a nice set of Orthos to purchase. Only phones I currently own are a pair of ATH-M35s. Mainly because I can't tear myself away from my Maggies. I may however be able to bring my Oppo BDP-105 if anybody is interested in hearing how their phones sound with the on board head amp which is supposed to be quite good. And of course the ESS Sabre DAC.

Just got my LCD-2! I will of course take advantage of the Pelican travel case and bring them along.

I'll see what I can do about getting a K812 for the meet.  Stay tuned and I'll update as soon as I know more.

I was trying to hint at a suggestion to invite Needle Doctor and RazorDog Audio to attend the meet. You could have a lot more than just the K812 at the meet....

The last MN headphone meet I ramrodded (in conjunction with the Audio Society) was over at the Pavek Broadcasting Museum.  Tyll who started HeadRoom came by with his trailer and a good time was had by all.  I had some stuff from Jan Meier that was a little bit unusual at the time.  But that was years ago.  At that time there was very limited local headphone interest or retail.  Merry Christmas!

I'll email Ken from the needle doctor and see if he'd like to go.

Well isn't this timely. I was just looking to get new headphones to use with my 2-channel speaker setup.
My Sennheiser HD-590's are just too laid back for the rock I listen to. Do we need to register, or just show up?

Someone will probably try to get a headcount at some point, but no need to actually register.

Room is good for over 200 people so unless we have an ovrwhelming response there shouldn't be an issue with people just showing up but if you are going to offer to bring equipment it might be a good idea to respond so we don't end up with lots of the same things.

Could you include the HD650's? Those are on my short list. Thanks!
