[ScanSpeak HiFi]

Not sure if any of you have heard of this one yet. It's a portable amplifier with a DAC on board but the kicker is that is also has on board digital signal processing that is user adjustable. So as far has my research has uncovered, there was a prototype that was released to a select few for beta testing but it looks as if they've scrapped that version and gone back to the drawing board due to some revisions that couldn't be overcome with the last chip set they were using. I've heard through the grape vine that the newer version will be in production soon. Is there any other portable amp available like this one?

Quietly awaiting for this product to hit the market. I have several miniDSP products and know their value is very high. Using such would be a boon to tweaking out headphones, just like tweaking out our rooms and speaker designs. Levels the playing field and gets us just that closer to audio nirvana.
