Yeah it looks great on paper, but when you realize you give up so much(ability to edit on MD unit, no SP recordings, headaches of using Satan's software, etc.) just to gain easy track titling and quicker transfers in theory(I find converting to ATRAC and then transfering to a player takes just as much time as making a quality SP recording via Optical In) is a horrible tradeoff. I think ultimately I would like to get a MD deck w/ PS/2 port to get all the advantages of NetMD w/o the numerous disadvantages, that would be sweet.

i have the R70 and the N410. so yes i have use netMD. i dont recommend realtime recording, i dont like sitting in a place 15hours a day to record 15 cd to 15minidiscs. beside netmd can record at SP mode too, at 2x.

one more thing, dont ever buy the sony mz-n710, it might have a line out, but its heaphone out is 1.2mW per channel. must be hideous.

Yeah, Sony made such a retarted decision with that fake SP in net MD. I think they intentionally wanted to limit the quality of recording you can put onto the NetMD because you can do it so fast in comparison with regular MD. They're so asininw, its not even funny...
