My query may be a bit unusual, but I do have a specific circumstance that warrants a male stereo mini that splits into 2 Female XLR connectors. It would be nice if it was of better quality than, say, Radio Shack, but I am not looking to spend an exorbitant sum of $$$. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well, I've never seen such a cable (and I've seen a lot of cables). Your best bet is to get the raw cable and connectors and DIY. Markertek has half of the solution. They sell an 1/8" stereo mini to single male or female XLR, from there you'd have to find some kind of Y splitter for XLR's. Best option for a single cable is DIY.
