Not actually, just not willing to spend too much on it, thought DIY is the way to go get some quality cable without paying too much.
 
As short as possible, the length enough for a cable between portable audio and amp

That one is in the FS forums now, it looks to be the same length as one I have now, which means, when bent, the plugs are about 1" apart or so. It looks very small, won't have much extra length hanging around...

FiiO's L2 is less than $20 shipped, which uses the PCOCC-A cable made by Oyaide in Japan. It's about 5 inches long including the plugs, however. I use it to send the audio from the line out of a Teclast T51 to a E7. I wonder if FiiO should produce an "ultra short" version for people who piggyback their DAP and amp in a bundle.
