Thanks for all the replies! Ive gotten a few PM's from a few of the DIY'ers here, and should be going with one of them

Id prefer the DIY over the mass made overpriced cables

As for me doing it myself.. well.. I suck with a soldering iron. Now to choose who to go with

OT: Just out of curiosity, why are you using the headphone output of that iriver instead of the line out?

as laxx said, i cant hear the difference and it also allows me to use a shorter cable and makes mt rig look much cleaner
