Ok have we now established that AKG501's make very bad plane traveling headphones?

Lets test the Sony F-1's next.

Yes guys, they are 7506's...why do you guys insist that they are V6's.....Anyway, When i travel, I take one pair of headphones for the Plane or hotel room, the 7506's are small and easier to handle than the 501's....and i dont have an elaborate amp system...that will be in the suitcase.......so, once again I state that for this application, and for some reason overall, at this time I like the 7506's better......I think there might be something to the way they fit me, otherwise, I am not hearing what you guys are hearing.
