ULTRASONE PRO900 PRO-900 CLOSED DJ HEADPHONES -OPEN BOX - eBay (item 270532568903 end time Mar-18-10 12:33:50 PDT)

click on "make offer" and put a lower number and work your way up. I got them at $300. I don't know if this is considered a good price, but it is a bit hidden and lower than what I could find on google, so I thought I'd post it here.

these are "open box" but the seller has rather impressive feedback (100% positive, nearly 30000 feedback) and a good return policy. seller claims these are not B-stock or refurbished

At $300us plus postage, it would put them at $400aud for me

They are usually $380 used on the forum, so $20 more for used is definitely worth it. If you are debating to get these or not, I would definitely jump on them for $300

I have other priorities set for now though, unfortunately

TBH I think these phones are highly underrated given the fact Kees modded they are awesome. Once Kees modded I find they are on par with my Grado RS1i's which seem to have a bit of a cult following on here.

I plan on owning both the PRO 900 and RS1i as soon as I get a good SS amp and DAC, DT880 6000hm, some speakers and a few comp games etc

I could do two reviews: ALO-780 vs PRO 900 and HF-2 vs RS-1i

It is no longer the case. I bid 300USD exactly and didn't win. Went from 290 - 295 - 300.

Used my friends account and went from 295- 300 - 305 and still no luck

Have you received the PRO 900? Everything was in the box and in brand new shape? I see his feedback is stellar and was considering getting the HFI 780 or PRO750 from him.

Could they be used portable, with my fuze and iBasso D4.

Yeah, sure. You would NEED that D4. Probably won't sound as good as a good home rig, but the D4 should be capable enough. best to play FLAC/WAV of course

Ultrasone's aren't particularly hard to drive etc, but the PRO series is said to be pretty revealing, so good quality music is a must

Looking at the price difference and how the PRO 900 is recommended a lot more than the HD25-1 II around here, I think it would be safe to say they are. I have not heard either, so I cannot comment personally. What kind of music do you listen to?
