Any thoughts?

Component values are on the original schematics -- I added the ones that were not obvious. Changes are to use a simple CCS for the Millett portion rather than the CRD, and to use the version of the Szekeres with the CCS.

crappy high end from too high an impedance to the mosfet gate on first glance.A simplified CCS on the mosfet does not sound as good as a simple resistor or other resistive element having a suitable "RL" (such as a light bulb) in this particular design design (though far better traces on the scope). Finally the szekeres sound is all about power suply sound being a single ended class-a design so look to the power to the mosfet also.

You need to build a stage, listen to it then add the next stage and "tweek' the circuit by ear not on paper if you want a superior sounding amp.Otherwise you are better off with an already optimised design (for what it does) like the Millett Hybrid built honest
