Hey Head-Fi people!
I'm looking for comfortable, portable, and mid focused headphones. I don't need much bass, and I'd like them to be closed.
My definition of portable headphones:
Portable : Short cable (no coils), not too large like the K550s

Sennheiser HD 439s are pretty mid focused and fit most of those categories.
 
Also look at Koss Pro DJ100.

Comfort is mostly a matter of personal preference.  Everyone's different.  In the end you need try the cans you are considering and determine that issue for yourself.
