Man if it can put 1.2 watts per channel it would be a feat that even many home amps can not do.

What does '1.2 watts per channel' actually mean in listening terms?

With some iem's you can go deaf w/ 100mW in no time. So 1.2 watts is 12 times that.

Yes!And thats up to 1200mW (1.2 watts)/channel RMS(CONSTANT!).At least that's their claim. For a portable amp that's huge! Were talking tube power. My ALO Mini^3 is up to 250mW and that is pretty loud.It get's to ear ringing levels with my M-Audio Q40's.That's about 1/5th the power of this amp.But how good is the sound quality?I'm curious about the bass on this amp. With that kind of power it should be able to put out some slammin bass with any headphones.

Sounds to me like it's more likely there's some kind mistake in the specs, then.

Bump this amp needs more attension 1.2 watts in RMS is unheard of in a portable amp!

and i checked the manual, and even ther it says 1200mW per channel. so im thinking its correct. i dont have a headphone strong enough to test 1.2 W, but i will by end of the week, which i will include in my review.
So far, its been very good. and i really like how i can adjust the bass with a seperate knob.

My 107B states that it can drive speakers...it does, but very softly. At 1200mw, you should be able to get decent volume out of a good, modest sized enclosure (6inch woofer).

Especially since the battery is 9 volts and 250 MaHr. Probably rain mighty quick if it's connected to an 8 ohm (even 16 ohm) speaker system.

My Microshar 107B drives my little Infinity 2001's at bedroom sleep volume, but it's got two 2600 MaHr AA batteries, and I only played 1 song with it as a test.
