The microphonics on the Er4P are limited to the upper part of the cable. So if shirt clip is used and considering they stick a it out of the ears, there should be almost no microphonics.

Not being over the ear is a big reason I like er4p. Over the ear bothers me.

You're right, alas. Because of the angle it makes with the earphone, the cable doesn't always want to stay behind your ear. It's still the best solution, though.
