If that is the case there is something seriously wrong. If by energizers you are referring to standard alkaline batteries, there must be a significant issue with your setup if you only get 2 hours out of them.

According to their website, with alkaline batteries and the desktop module, you should be getting about 7 hrs battery life...more with lithiums, obviously...maybe you should have headroom look at your amp again for shorts and whatnot?
