One of the hi-fi magazines used to run a "systems of the stars" article occasionally. I was always amazed by how many performers apparently didn't care about sound quality. Tons of money, but low budget sound systems or even mini-systems. The recording engineers seem to be the ones responsable for sound quality more often then the stars, and that was reflected ion the sound systems they used at home.
