Outside of the obvious listed specs listed on the site, is there a level change in the quality of components between the two DACs or what justifies the plus $150 price tag?
Has any one heard both here? If so, can you give some impressions?
I wanted the Orchid originally and missed out on a modded hot-rod unit a few weeks back... but I've found a decent deal on a stock Istanbul.
Also, MHDT website and their US distributor, seem to differ in their information on which chip is stock.. LTA site lists a PCM56P-K R-2R .. the MHDT shows a PCM61P-K R-2R .. which in earlier 2018-19 posts was mentioned as a chip owners upgraded to but dint come stock.
