I just got a package from Canada. MG Head OTL just arrived. Cool little amp. First impessions, HD 600's plugged into the OTL jack, feedback switch towards trans=very, very, good sound. The feedback switch is kind of a mystery to me right now. I was told it controls feedback? This is my first Tube piece so bear with me. So far, cold, right out of the box I like it.

The optimum performance with your headphones will be throught the OTL output
on the right. The switch is for feedback, up position will reduce feed back
and down will increase it.

Just switched over from the OTL jack to Headphone jack. Less bass with HD 600's. Actually I think it is more musical. I'm listening to Janice Ian "Breaking Silence". How much was my Max again?

Just not the new Diana Krall from what I understand.

Actually an early album. Right now I'm bouncing back and forth between the Head and the Max. Can you say "bang for the buck"?

It not only Decrease Feed back but Zero Feed Back. I suggest use Zero Feed back when wotk in OTL Mode.

Yes ! No feed back in OTL Mode but Can select Zero feed back or Feed back in Transformers out mode.

You get 2 difference taste in one amps

, OTL mode , more detail , side open , deep bass.
Transformers Output - more sweet sound in Mid range ...
