Yeah, I saw this earlier. There were plenty of bids, but the seller retracted the item.

As far as I'm concerned these people should be banned from ebay! Once a bid is placed it is supposed to be a contract, right? I placed a bid a few weeks ago on a motorcycle which was over the sellers reserve. one day before the auction ended he retracted the bike. He emailed me to say he decided to sell to a local buyer. The ebay page was changed to say bidding was closed, and my bid was erased. I complained but ebay did absolutely nothing.
