I do think this release is better sounding than the original by a small margin. However, Polydor released a remastered and expanded version of this recording called Live At The Filmore thats even better sounding IMO. Three of the songs are never released versions of the original songs taken from one of the two nights(October 23 and 24, 1970) this was recorded, such as TELL THE TRUTH; but most are exactly the same as on In Concert, such as BLUES POWER. The alternate versions are just as good or better. You get several songs like LITTLE WING, CROSSROADS, KEY TO THE HIGHWAY and NOBODY KNOWS YOU WHEN YOUR DOWN AND OUT that were not on the original release. This is the one I would go for.
