Greetings!

We hope you’re all doing well, and that you’re taking time out of your day to have some fun, too – at least as much fun as we did preparing this release for you guys. We’ve gone and channelled our artistic vision and technical expertise to create a fully-fledged, deeply immersive experience for you to enjoy. A more compact and accessible planar magnetic open-back headphone that is every bit as technically capable and comfortable as our higher-end options.

This is the story of the Meze Audio POET.

ELEGANCE IN DESIGN & MATERIALS
Every detail of POET is crafted for both durability and timeless elegance, ensuring an immersive listening journey that lasts a lifetime.

CUTTING-EDGE ACOUSTIC INNOVATION: THE MZ6 ISODYNAMIC® HYBRID ARRAY DRIVER
At the core of POET is the revolutionary Rinaro MZ6 Isodynamic® Hybrid Array driver—an evolution of the award-winning technology found in LIRIC and ELITE. Engineered exclusively for POET, this driver sets a new benchmark for clarity, low distortion, and spatial precision.

ACOUSTIC METAMATERIAL TUNING SYSTEM (AMTS)
By integrating Dan Clark Audio’s Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS), POET refines high-frequency performance, eliminating unwanted peaks for a more relaxed, immersive sound signature. This technology enhances both clarity and balance, making long listening sessions more enjoyable.

PREMIUM CABLE INCLUDED
Each POET unit ships with a hand-braided copper cable, featuring a 6.3 mm termination for seamless integration with high-end audio systems. Designed for optimal signal transmission, this cable preserves every detail of your music.

I guess it would make sense to stick this in here.

Marks review is up as well.

Looks awesome! Seriously considering one of these.

Odd choice to provide no options for cable termination. Why only give 6.3mm? It would have been better to make it 3.5mm so we can use a 6.3mm adapter if needed...

Looks to be another polarizing headphone from Antonio like the OG Empyrean. The measurebator community isn't overly impressed and the reviewers that appreciate coloration are enjoying it.

Glad to see another manufacturer enter the $2000 space. It's packed and ultra competitive with top tier products.

The last time I experienced this was with the MDR-Z1R. Turned out to be a great headphone to my ears despite the polarizing reviews :)

Yeah. It's getting harder to trust reviewers anyways so I think it'll be one that people will either have to blind buy or hopefully find a place to demo. My local store that reps Meze just closed so I no longer have the ability to demo.

The best option would be 4.4mm. A number of manufacturers have been adopting this (including Abyss) as a low-profile standard that can adapted to anything elegantly and easily.
