I bought my HD555s before joining head-fi, so i guess that doesnt count toward my total(there also my only cans atm). making my total a whopping 28 dollars! (bought a sennhesier stand and an extra 1/4" to 1/8" adaptor)

add about 500 to my total for cd's, i always knew mp3's were inferior, but the headphone rig really made it to obvious not to start buying cd's again

Okay, just did a rough calculation of all the headphones/amps/sources I've owned, minus what I sold them for. Here is total net monetary loss since I joined head-fi, purely on gear, NOT cds. I'm adding this up right now.

12 headphones, three amps, four sources, a boxful of tubes, and one record cleaning machine:

Roughly $4,500.

i think i did this before but can't remember. anyhow put me down for, hmm, 6,000 bucks. That's about right.

And add $23,000 for 1911. Yeah he sold it all, but he sold it to Head-fiers, so that cash is still spent and floating around on board members' heads.
