Have had a Meridian Explorer 2 for a few years that I love. I've dropped it a couple of times but its kept on working. Recently, I plugged it in but it would not power up. I tried a few different USB cables to rule that out as the problem.

Does Meridian still service these? I know they don't sell portable DAC/amps anymore. Is there anywhere I can take or ship it to for repair? Is it even worth it?

Sorry, just saw this. The input port needed to be resoldered to the board. Cost me $50 but it works like a charm now.

Great to know, thank you, I will take a look at solder joints. It's still lurking in my office, hadn't summoned the fortitude to toss it out.

Ur going to need a micro-solderer. Someone who specializes in repairing circuit boards. Just Google micro-soldering. Places that fix cell phones could probably do it for u as well.
