I was perusing headphones on eBay and saw a picture of a pair of Stanton DJ Pro 2000S. I noticed that the chassis is the exact same as Ultrasone's HFI-780 except for a switch on the outside of the left ear chamber. Not that this is anything all that surprising since the Ultrasone's are made in Taiwan but I was just wondering if there is a connection between the two companies. Maybe Stanton is a subsidiary of Ultrasone that targets the low-end of the market?

Just wondering out loud here.

The 780 chassis is actually a fairly common one that is just particular to certain factories where the headphones are made. You could go and pick the same chassis if you were making you own headphones. Stanton is affiliated with krk systems and cerwin-vega I believe.
