I like the Members Only jackets. They look appropriate because the common hoodies that people wear are too casual when you're in down town. But not too formal. It's a nice balance. Great jacket to wear if you don't want to wear sneakers as it matches shoes better than the typical hoodie that everyone wears. If you wear a Members Only jacket, women will also notice you more.

I think I still have one in a closet someplace.  Dark red/Maroon, not blue though.
 
For all the sneers and snide remarks they get these days, at the time it was one of my favourites.  Not so much for the look (which I always thought was somewhat generic)..but because it was incredibly comfortable.
