Melos International, the maker of famed Melos headphone preamp, was forced into bankruptcy by Silver State Bank in Nevada about 3 months ago. Its assets have been being liquidated on the net at:

I'm interested in the schematics for Melos Maestro but the vulture wants to charge $150 for it! Yack. For other Melos owners, there may be something interesting for you like faceplates. Wondering any lucky headwizer/headfier grabbed bargains.

Melos' terrible reputation on customer service surely contributes its demise.

It's unfortunate. They produced some interesting stuff. But like Templeboy said, their service seemed somewhat lacking. You don't stay in business long by upsetting your customers.
