I'm looking around for a final time before i send a E-mail to dr. meier, and i wanted to see how the synergy between the 931 and the melos SH1-a is. Can anyone comment on this combination?

And more little question: How do you guys power your Art DI/O?

The stock tubes in the Melos sounded a little bright to me. I'm told this can be solved with tube rolling. The DT931 is definitely bright without the 120 ohm adapter. If you order from Meier, be sure to ask about the adapter. I imagine you'll want to tube roll in the Melos regardless and there are a few threads about this if you do a search.

I use the $125 ART DI/O PSU sold on Bolder Cable that is likely the best you can do for it. Several other people use a 3A Stancor PSU that's said to be quite a bit better than the stock unit and I think goes for aroun $20.
