Sorry if this is in the wrong section!

I recently bent the plug on my d5000 and as a result one channel drops out unless the jack is in a specific position (very annoying).

The headphones were brought as a present from a friend when they went overseas, and every hi-fi place I've visited in search of a solution has just pointed me towards sending it back to Denon at an outrageous price.

I'm a complete noob at DIY and have no access to a solder iron, so I have come here in hope of a friendly aussie (preferably Melbourne based) who may assist me in reterminating at a negotiable fee!

Thanks!

Send them to Denon.

Alternately have any of the cable charlatans install a new cable.

Easy!

Hey! I resemble that remark! :p
