Can you please tell me is Pro version of Meizu hifi DAC much better than non-Pro version?
Is it worth to pay more money for the Pro version?
How is it in comparison to others? Maybe there's better alternatives in this price range?
Thank you

Non pro is for IEM, pro is for headphones, that's it.
this shortcut is often true because no iem has high impedance but more precisely the non pro 30mW power output is good for iem and headphones that requires low power to sound great and the 100mW pro version is for iem and heaphones that requires more power ( check comments in reviews to see if you need power, iem with electrostatic drivers for example)

Hi
I have been trying to buy the PRO version but it is totally discontinued, and looks like there will be no stock sales in the future.
I have some simple (but loved) CAL headphones (Creative Aurvana Live). Do you think that with the nonPRO version would be enough for them?
Do you recommend any other USB DAC for Android?
Thanks!

Yes, it will work I think.
It can drive my 1990, 770-80, hd25, er4xr, all very good.
The sound quality is remarkable. I have also the LG v30 and this little meizu is a match. It has a more solid bass and better image depth than v30. The v30 is wider sounding and maybe a little more detailed. Anyway, the meizu is very engaging sounding in my opinion, with a 3d like sound presentation.
This little new Cirrus Logic Dacs are good!
Consume very little amount of power from mobile phone.
To me, it's a great buy!

I have the non pro version.
It can drive my dt770-80, 1990, er4xr.
It works well on May Lg v30.
Very nice sounding device.
For 20 EUR Is a steal.
Well done Meizu!
Hi Crazywipe I'm hoping this will work well with my new LG Wing.
I too have previously owned the V30.
I have been using my Opus #11 external DAC with the LG Wing which sounds great.
I need to use the UAPP APP though with Tidal as an option inside of the App.
The sound is really good.
I'm hoping to use the Meizu directly with Tidal and YouTube etc.
Final part of my Audio experience are the HiFi Man HE 400i headphones which whilst around 32 Ohms they do need a lot of power.
The Opus sounds particularly good with them.
Thanks for any possible advice on the Meizu and the LG Wing

Hello there. I just got the Meizu Usbc hifi Dac here (photo attached) this very morning.
Bottom line is: it can play my Sennheiser HD650 at a reasonable volume.
It is plugged into my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and powering my Sennheiser HD650 (300ohms).
I am listening via Apple Music Lossless (meaning ALAC @ 24bit/48kHz).
Volume is at 90% (and I can't hear anything from the living room or neighboors)
Just played "Halycon" by Mono and it sounded very good to me.
I have a Fiio E12 Montblanc dac/amp but it is so much more convenient to
listen to the HD650 this way.
I don't have the skills you guys do, but if anyone wants me to test anything more specific I have the Senn HD650, a KZ ZS10 PRO, an Arcano SHP80 (aka Takstar Hi2050), Koss KSC75, FiiO E12, Galaxy Buds+ and Tronsmart Onyx Neo.
