The X-CanV8P has a lot of power for lower impedance phones which is good since they crave current. This amp in stock form sounds quite neutral and has a very dynamic sound to it.

I'd recommend it over anything else currently. It's has more power I just plain prefer it, especially after you change your tubes to better ones!

I have used Cantate.2 with RS1 and D7000. Both sounded great but I wouldn't say they are really good for its price but amp part is great nonetheless.

Just wonder that r u using V8P's dac only now since I saw you signature that you connect your V8p to Audio-GD Roc.

Hifidk:
Only I need is Cantate's amp module so I guess what u mean is Cantate can drive both of them very well?

Thanks you two~~

Well, I think both headphones are relatively easy to drive, so it could drive both very well. However, I don't have much experience with many amps (probably 5-6 amps). So, I don't know if it will be a perfect match for those two.

I dont consider the D7000 as easy to drive cans. Yes they are low impedance cans. But they need really high current to release their full potential.

Anyway thanks Hifidk~~~

CapQ: I do use the DAC but I have my Cowon D2+ still hooked up to it. Also I recabled a D2000 for someone and tested it on the X-CanV8P and the bass improved very much.
