While I haven't heard any other good headphone combos, I don't particularly like my Arietta+HD650 combination. Like someone said here, maybe it lacks life. All I can say I would like to try different amps, but don't want to sell this babe because Grados sound so fine!

I'm trapped.

Yes, it's still very enjoyable but it's the "something's missing" feeling.

I might add that source, cables (power, IC) and quality of power (power conditioning) are all factors to consider. My opinion is based on how the amp sounds in my system.
