I'm sure somebody out there will argue that point, though--not in terms of burn in images but in terms of running the electronics for a while. In fact, when we got our LCD HDTV calibrated they told us to make sure the set had at least 100 hours on it before they came out, claiming that the electronics needed time to "settle in." Not sure I believed them, but whatever. It's not like we weren't going to put at least 100 hours on it just by using it.

Whats next burning in girlfriends?

"yeah I cant get move in with her yet she needs at least 300+ hours burn in"
